LifeMiles just went on sale at 1.35 cents each ✈️
Avianca's LifeMiles program just dropped a flash sale - up to a 145% bonus on purchased miles, which works out to about 1.35 cents each at the top tier. That's a genuinely good rate for LifeMiles, better than the window they ran back in July, and worth a look if you're close on a redemption.
Bonus: up to 145% (125% at 1,000-20,000 miles, 135% at 21,000-50,000, 145% at 51,000-200,000)
Effective rate: 1.35 cents/mile at the top tier
Cap: 200,000 miles per purchase, 500,000 per calendar year
Through: August 24, 2026 (LifeMiles' own T&Cs say August 27, so don't cut it too close)
Sweet spot: one-way business class US-Europe on Lufthansa or another Star Alliance partner from around 87,000 miles, with no fuel surcharges on the LifeMiles chart
Caveat: buying speculatively rarely pays off - this is best if you already have a redemption in mind and just need to top up
