If you've got a Star Alliance redemption in your sights and you're a little short, Turkish Airlines just made topping off cheaper than usual - buy at the top tier and you're paying about 1.5 cents per mile, well under what most of us value a Turkish mile at.

• Rate: up to 100% bonus, ~1.5 cents per mile at the top tier (buy 250,001-500,000 miles)

• Cap: 500,000 miles per calendar year

• Expires: October 15, 2026

• Sweet spot: Star Alliance business class, priced on Turkish's distance-based chart - often cheaper than booking through the operating partner's own program

• Caveat: you need a big purchase (250K+ miles) to hit the full 100% bonus; smaller tiers only get 25-50%

Anyone actually pulled the trigger on this one, or have a redemption to pair it with? Drop it below. Buy on turkishairlines.com ->

Royal Jordanian's Royal Club just reopened its paid status match, and it's one of the few that also takes hotel elite status, not just airline status.

• Match from: elite status with major airlines (Emirates, Etihad, Lufthansa and others) or top-tier hotel status (Marriott Bonvoy, Hilton Honors, World of Hyatt, IHG One Rewards, Accor ALL)

• Get: Gold Sparrow (oneworld Sapphire) for $149 from an airline, or Silver Jay (oneworld Ruby) for $49

• Valid: 12 months from approval, no flying requirement to keep it

• Apply by: no published end date right now, but this campaign has opened and closed several times in 2026

• Caveat: not currently open to US residents - confirmed eligible for the UK, Canada and a number of European and Middle Eastern countries

If you're UK-based and sitting on unused hotel status, this is a cheap way into oneworld lounge access without setting foot on a Royal Jordanian flight. Anyone tried this one before? Curious how smooth the application was for people here.

Amex UK just rolled out a chunky transfer bonus to Hilton Honors, running through late November. If you've got Membership Rewards points sitting around and you like Hilton's mid-tier city hotels in Europe, this is one of the better windows we've seen for this pair.

• New ratio: 1 Membership Rewards point = 2.8 Hilton Honors points (a 40% bonus over the standard 1:2)

• Through: 24 November 2026

• Best use: Mid-tier Hilton Garden Inn / DoubleTree / Hilton Hotels & Resorts stays across Europe running 30k-50k points a night

• Effective value: roughly 1.4 cpp at the sweet spot

• Watch out for: this is the UK Membership Rewards programme specifically (a separate, higher offer than the concurrent US Amex-to-Hilton bonus), it may be targeted to your account, and the bonus points can take up to 20 business days to land, separately from the base transfer

Got a Hilton stay in Europe lined up this could work for? Tell us below - curious what the community finds. Transfer on amex.co.uk ->

Finnair Plus just launched a buy-points sale, and if you're already sitting in a Finnair Plus account (or don't mind opening one), it's one of the cheaper ways to top up an Avios balance right now.

• Bonus: up to 50% extra Avios on purchases

• Effective rate: as low as 1.4 cents per Avios at the top purchase tier

• Cap: 200,000 Avios per calendar year (purchases and gifts combined)

• Through: October 5, 2026

• Sweet spot: off-peak business class to Europe on Iberia or British Airways from around 34,000 Avios one-way

• Caveat: the cheapest pricing tier requires paying in Japanese yen, so your actual rate depends on your account's billing currency - run the numbers before you buy

Anyone actually holding a Finnair Plus account and used this one? Curious how the yen pricing trick worked out in practice. Buy Avios here.

Just spotted this one: Miles & More (Lufthansa's program) opened a free status match aimed at elite members of Malaysia-based airline programs like Malaysia Airlines Enrich. No co-pay, unlike some of their other recent matches.

• Match from: Malaysia-based airline elite status (Malaysia Airlines Enrich)

• Get: Frequent Traveller or Senator status with Miles & More

• Valid: through February 28, 2027

• Keep it: fly 2 segments (Frequent Traveller) or 6 segments (Senator) by December 31, 2026 to extend through February 28, 2028

• Apply by: no fixed deadline published yet, but worth registering while it's live

• Caveat: previous Miles & More match recipients are excluded, and they want flight-earned status, not a prior chain match

Senator gets you Star Alliance Gold-level lounge access, so if you're sitting on Malaysia Airlines Enrich status and flying Star Alliance routes, this is worth five minutes to register. Anyone here matched into Miles & More before - how strict were they on proof of status?
