Bilt Rewards Launches Accor Status Match for January 2025 Rent Day

A new way to unlock hotel elite status through your rent payments

The Bilt Mastercard (US) continues to innovate in the points and miles space with their latest Rent Day promotion. For January 2025, they're offering an exciting status match opportunity with Accor Live Limitless (ALL), alongside their standard double points earning.

The Status Match Details

Bilt cardholders can match to Accor status based on their current Bilt tier:

  • Bilt Platinum: Choice of ALL Silver (free), Gold (2,000 points), or Platinum (5,000 points)

  • Bilt Gold: ALL Silver (free) or Gold (2,000 points)

  • Bilt Silver: ALL Silver (free) or Gold (5,000 points)

  • Bilt Blue: ALL Silver (free)

The matched status will be valid through December 2025, with a simplified requalification path for 2026 - just 3 nights for Silver and 8 nights for Gold status retention.

Double Points on Rent Day

On the first of each month, Bilt cardholders earn:

  • 6x points on dining (normally 3x)

  • 4x points on travel (normally 2x)

  • 2x points on other purchases (normally 1x)

  • 1x points on rent remains unchanged

Note that bonus points are now capped at 1,000 per month, down from the previous 10,000 point limit.

My Take

This status match presents an interesting opportunity. The relatively low requalification requirements for 2026 make it particularly attractive if you have occasional Accor stays planned.

Accor's strong presence means these status benefits could prove valuable. Their Platinum status includes perks like suite upgrades and lounge access at select properties. You can see their benefits here.
