Qatar Airways Privilege Club is running a 25% Avios discount through its monthly Privilege Deals promotion - and the October booking window closes today, Wednesday 14th October. With destinations spanning Business and Economy cabins, and Avios rates often already cheaper than British Airways equivalents, this is one of the more useful recurring promotions in the UK miles-and-points calendar.

Qatar Privilege Deals October 2026: What's on offer

Since August, Qatar has run a monthly set of Privilege Deals with a short booking window. October's deals must be booked by midnight today, and all travel must be completed by 30th November 2026. The 25% discount applies to the Avios portion of the fare only - you still pay taxes and fees in cash, though an Avios + Cash option is available.

There are no UK-originating routes in October's list, but that does not rule out some genuinely valuable routes for UK travellers - particularly those willing to position to a departure airport or use these deals as a connecting leg.

Business Class discounted one-way rates this month:

  • Amman - 29,250 Avios

  • Ankara - 26,250 Avios

  • Bucharest - 26,250 Avios

  • Jeddah - 15,750 Avios

  • Medina - 15,750 Avios

  • Salalah - 10,500 Avios

  • Tunis - 26,250 Avios

  • Warsaw - 32,250 Avios

  • Yerevan - 26,250 Avios

  • Zanzibar - 26,250 Avios

Economy Class discounted one-way rates this month:

  • Casablanca - 16,875 Avios

  • Dammam - 5,250 Avios

  • Entebbe - 13,125 Avios

  • Istanbul - 13,125 Avios

  • Muscat - 5,250 Avios

  • Nice - 16,125 Avios

  • Sharjah - 5,250 Avios

  • Singapore - 18,750 Avios

  • Stockholm - 16,125 Avios

How much Avios can you save on these discounted rates?

The savings are meaningful, particularly on longer Business Class routes. Warsaw to Doha drops from the standard off-peak rate of 43,000 Avios to 32,250 Avios one-way in Business Class - a saving of 10,750 Avios. Use our Qatar Avios & award flight finder to check what's available on your preferred route.

The bigger wins come on connecting itineraries. Warsaw to Bangkok via Doha costs 56,250 Avios in Business Class under the promotion, down from the usual 75,000 Avios - a saving of 18,750 Avios. At a typical UK valuation of around 1p per Avios, that represents roughly £187 in Avios value saved on a single itinerary.

On the Economy side, Singapore to London via Doha falls from 37,500 Avios to 28,125 Avios one-way - saving 9,375 Avios (roughly £94 at 1p per Avios). You can run the numbers on your specific route using the Qatar Avios & Qpoints earning calculator to see how far your balance goes.

How to book Qatar Privilege Deals with Avios

There are a few practical steps to get right before you book, so it is worth reading these carefully before you start searching.

  • Book directly via the Qatar Airways website - you cannot book these deals through the British Airways site

  • If your Avios are held in a BA Executive Club account, transfer them to your Qatar Privilege Club account first

  • Search for flights to one of the listed destinations and look for the 'Privilege Deals' label - the discount does not apply automatically to every flight

  • The 25% reduction is on the Avios portion only; cash taxes and fees remain payable

  • Travel must be completed by 30th November 2026

One creative option for UK travellers: fly to Warsaw or Bucharest on a low-cost carrier, then book a separate Qatar Business Class redemption onwards via Doha. You lose some convenience but the Avios savings on a long-haul leg can more than compensate for the extra planning.

Things to watch before you book

The main limitation is the travel window. With a 30th November 2026 travel deadline, you have roughly six weeks to actually fly - this suits those who can move quickly, but rules out longer-term planning. If you are hoping to use Avios for a Christmas trip, these deals will not help.

None of the discounted routes depart from a UK airport this month, which adds friction for most British travellers. Positioning flights add cost and time, so factor those in before concluding the deal is cheaper overall.

Availability is also not guaranteed across all dates. The Privilege Deals label only appears on specific flights, so you may need to be flexible with dates. If the dates you want are not showing the discounted rate, the standard rate will apply instead.

Finally, the Avios transfer from BA Executive Club to Qatar Privilege Club is not instant - allow enough time before the booking window closes today.

Frequently asked questions

How do I find Qatar Privilege Deals when searching for flights?

Search for flights on the Qatar Airways website to one of the listed destinations and look for the 'Privilege Deals' label on the results page. The discount does not apply automatically - only flights tagged with that label qualify for the 25% Avios reduction.

Can I book Qatar Privilege Deals using Avios from my BA account?

Not directly. You need to transfer your Avios to a Qatar Privilege Club account first, then book via the Qatar Airways website. Transfers between BA Executive Club and Qatar Privilege Club are possible but take time, so do this before the booking deadline.

Are Qatar Avios redemptions cheaper than British Airways redemptions?

Generally yes - Qatar's Privilege Club pricing is often lower than BA's equivalent zone-based rates for the same routes, particularly on long-haul Business Class. You can compare pricing using our BA Avios flight calculator alongside Qatar's own search to see where you save the most.

Does the 25% discount apply to the taxes and fees as well?

No. The 25% reduction applies to the Avios portion of the redemption only. You will still pay the full taxes and fees in cash, or you can reduce those with an Avios + Cash mix if that option is available on your chosen flight.

The bottom line

Qatar's monthly Privilege Deals are a genuinely useful way to stretch your Avios balance further - especially on Business Class routes where the absolute savings in Avios terms are largest. The October window closes today, with travel required by 30th November. If you have Avios sitting in a Qatar Privilege Club account (or can transfer them from BA in time), it is worth checking whether any of this month's discounted routes fit a trip you are already planning - or inspire a spontaneous one.
