Radisson Hotels VIP Status Match

Turn your existing hotel & airline loyalty status into top-tier Radisson benefits until 2025

If you've been following the points and miles game for a while, you'll know that status matches can be absolute goldmines - and this latest opportunity from Radisson is no exception. I gained Radisson VIP earlier this year, I'm excited to share how you can do the same, potentially securing valuable benefits like free breakfast and room upgrades until the end of 2025.

The best part? You might already qualify without realising it. Even entry-level airline status like British Airways Bronze or basic hotel status like Hilton Gold (which comes free with American Express Platinum cards) is enough to start the ball rolling.

How the Match Works

This is a two-step process, but don't let that put you off - it's surprisingly straightforward:

  1. First, match your existing airline or hotel status to Club Avolta Platinum (the loyalty programme for World Duty Free)

  2. Then, match your new Club Avolta Platinum status to Radisson Rewards VIP by emailing the Radisson Loyalty Team

The whole process should take no more than a couple of days, and considering you'll get benefits like guaranteed free breakfast for two people and room upgrades, it's absolutely worth the minimal effort involved.

What's Actually On Offer?

As a Radisson VIP member, you'll get:

  • Free breakfast for two (a genuine money-saver)

  • Room upgrades to the best available room at check-in (sadly, excluding suites)

  • 15% off food and drink

  • Access to 'Discount Booster' rates (which genuinely beat other available rates - I’ve used it myself to score a deal)

  • Early check-in and late check-out (subject to availability)

Is It Worth It?

In my view, absolutely. Even if you only stay at Radisson properties occasionally, the free breakfast benefit alone can justify the few minutes it takes to complete the match. Plus, with the status lasting until the end of 2025, you've got plenty of time to make use of the benefits.

Looking Ahead

Remember, to maintain VIP status beyond 2025, you'll need 20 stays or 30 nights during the year. That's quite a commitment, but for now, you can enjoy nearly two years of top-tier benefits without any stay requirements.

For anyone with even the most basic airline or hotel status, this is a no-brainer opportunity to secure some valuable hotel benefits. While Radisson might not be the most glamorous chain out there, having VIP status in your back pocket can make a real difference to both your comfort and wallet when you do stay with them.

Have you already matched your status? I'd love to hear about your experiences with Radisson VIP benefits in the comments below.
