Singapore Airlines has announced a new range of amenities across every cabin, and the headline for me is simple: Business Class passengers will get sleeper suits for the first time. Pyjamas, in other words. They arrive alongside new BYREDO amenity kits in Business, SISLEY kits in Suites and First, and fresh pouches in Premium Economy and Economy.
Everything rolls out progressively from November 2026 on flights of more than six hours. That includes the routes most of us actually fly - Heathrow, Gatwick and Manchester to Singapore. Here is what is changing, the small print, and whether it should change how you spend your KrisFlyer miles.

What's new in each cabin
WHAT // Singapore Airlines has refreshed the kit in all four cabin classes. Here is the cabin-by-cabin breakdown, straight from the airline's announcement.
Business Class: pyjamas and BYREDO
Sleeper suits for the first time. Navy blue poly-cotton, a relaxed fit, in two sizes, with grey slippers.
A BYREDO amenity kit in a soft grey zip pouch, with Blanche Eau de Parfum, Blanche hand cream and a lip balm, plus eyeshades, socks and a dental kit. It is the first time Singapore Airlines has put a fragrance spray in its Business Class kit, and it says it is the first airline to offer BYREDO's Blanche range.
In the lavatories: BYREDO Blanche body lotion and a Vitamin E chamomile facial toner.

Suites and First Class: SISLEY
Separate men's and women's SISLEY kits, with products from the Sisleÿum and Sisleÿa anti-ageing ranges. Singapore Airlines says it is the only airline to offer both ranges.
New 100% cotton sleeper suits in four sizes, and coral fleece slippers with more padding.
Eau De Campagne products in the lavatories, and Hair Rituel by Sisley in The Private Room and First Class SilverKris Lounge at Changi Terminals 2 and 3.

Premium Economy and Economy
Premium Economy: a zip pouch made from recycled materials with a hand strap and the airline's batik motif. Inside is a white tea lip balm from Australian brand INK & WATER (exclusive to Singapore Airlines), plus eyeshades, socks and a dental kit.
Economy: a collectible drawstring pouch with the batik motif, holding eyeshades, socks and a dental kit.

Travelling with children? Young travellers in Suites, First and Business on flights of more than five hours can get a new, larger Beary soft toy, and there is a Disney and Pixar Toy Story range for children aged 12 and under on all flights.
WHY IT MATTERS // The new kits apply to flights of more than six hours, and the sleeper suits to all long-haul flights plus selected medium-haul overnight flights of more than six hours. Every Singapore Airlines flight between the UK and Singapore is long-haul, so Heathrow, Gatwick and Manchester are all in scope. On a roughly 13-hour overnight flight, being able to get out of your travel clothes is a real comfort upgrade, not a gimmick. If you are looking at the flight home, you can check the cabin layout for SQ308 Singapore to Heathrow on Flight Seatmap.

The small print, and the bigger story in November
A few things worth knowing before you get excited:
It is a progressive roll-out. Singapore Airlines says the kits will be introduced progressively from November 2026. My reading of that: if you fly in early November, do not be surprised if your flight still has the old kit.
Short flights get nothing new. The six-hour rule means a regional hop does not qualify. When I flew Singapore Airlines Business Class from Bali to Hong Kong via Singapore, neither sector was long enough to qualify under these rules.
Business gets two sizes, First gets four. A small detail, but if you are very tall or very petite, the Business Class fit may be hit and miss.
The bigger story is still to come. Singapore Airlines says these amenities are part of a wider "end-to-end" travel experience that will be unveiled in Singapore in November 2026, alongside next-generation cabins, refreshed food and drink, a new KrisWorld entertainment system and high-speed internet. The pyjamas are the appetiser - the new seats will matter far more to anyone redeeming miles.
Getting KrisFlyer miles from the UK
Singapore Airlines is in Star Alliance, so Avios will not help you here. The main UK routes into KrisFlyer are:
American Express Membership Rewards - KrisFlyer was removed as a transfer partner for UK cards in January 2025 and has since returned, so check the current rate on the Amex UK transfer page before you move points. See the latest Amex personal card offers, or if you run a business, compare the Amex business cards. I hold both the Amex Business Platinum and Business Gold myself.
HSBC Premier - also a KrisFlyer partner, but you need a Premier account.
Marriott Bonvoy - converts at 3:1. Expensive, but handy if you already have a balance. You can build one on everyday spending with the Marriott Bonvoy Currensea debit card.
For a bigger picture of your options, see our guide to the best UK cards for Star Alliance miles. And remember that KrisFlyer miles expire after 36 months, so it is better to transfer when you have a seat in sight rather than speculatively.
💡 WHAT TO ACTUALLY DO
Nothing changes in the booking engine - award prices are the same, so do not pay more just for pyjamas.
Already planning a long-haul trip after November? Business on Singapore Airlines just got a little more comfortable for the same miles. Search saver space on Award Travel Finder before you transfer anything.

My take
I will be honest: my first reaction to an amenity kit press release is usually a shrug. Most of us open the pouch, take the socks and leave the rest. But Business Class pyjamas are different, and I think they matter more than they sound.
On a long overnight flight, the seat gets you a bed. What turns it into actual sleep is the small stuff - not lying in jeans, not waking up creased. Until now, sleepwear on Singapore Airlines was something you only got if you turned left into Suites or First. Bringing it into Business puts a first-class-style touch into the cabin most of us can realistically redeem for.
There is also a wider point here. Seats take years to design and fit. Kits, pyjamas and toiletries can change in months. My view is that this is the cheaper, quicker way for an airline to lift the experience while the hardware catches up - and Singapore Airlines has said the hardware is coming in November. It was named World's Best Airline at the Skytrax World Airline Awards in September 2026, for the sixth time, so it clearly does not want to stand still.
What I would not do is let this change your maths. The value of a redemption is still about the miles, the taxes and whether you can actually find a seat. A nice pouch is a bonus, not a reason.

My verdict
This is a real upgrade, especially for Business Class on UK routes, and it costs you nothing extra whether you pay cash or use miles. There is no action needed today.
If you have been eyeing a Singapore Airlines redemption for next year, it is a small extra reason to go for it - but keep your eyes on the November unveiling, where the new cabins will be the real news.
